About Me

I have always had a passion for photography. Growing up in Illinois, I would take B&W photos and develop them in my own darkroom in my parent's basement.
After graduating from high school, I decided to pursue a career in software development – while still doing photography on the side.
Another hobby of mine is exploring and photographing abandoned buildings. A few years later, a representative from Airbnb noticed my photos of abandoned buildings and thought I could do a great job photographing vacation rentals as well. Accepting the offer, I began shooting photos for Airbnb as a side gig while still working my day job as a software developer.
In 2017 I left the software industry completely in order to pursue my true passion of photography. Since then, I’ve been doing real estate photography full time and loving every minute of my new career.

Today, I’m a full-time real estate and fine art photographer. I take time and care to properly capture every property I shoot – paying attention to any features like architectural details, views, nearby amenities, and more. Although most of my income comes from real estate photography, I frequently shoot the night sky in the Anza-Borrego Desert, Salton Sea, Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Mount Laguna, Palomar Mountain, and other locations in and near San Diego County. I’d love to shoot homes and vacation rentals for YOU! I offer interior and exterior photography, twilight photography, drone photography, video, and more.
